No less than 180 m2 of sand-cement flooring has been renovated. On top of that, we installed the Artificial resin floor in an NCS color requested by the client. To minimize further movement of the cracks in the sand-cement floor—and thus the risk of cracking in the new finish layer—the following steps were taken:
- Step 1: Scraping out and sealing the cracks;
- Step 2: Covering the cracks with mesh;
- Step 3: Leveling to hide the mesh and cracks from view;
- Step 4: Applying the Artificial resin floor (with crack-bridging properties)
