New-build home Noordwijk: exceptionally sleek whole
In a new-build home in Noordwijk, a gray resin floor from TREU interior specials shines. The subtle color accents elsewhere in the interior are perfectly showcased on this color resin floor. The seamless application and transition from the living and dining room to the hall ensure an exceptionally sleek whole.
Home renovation Blaricum: sound-damping resin floor
For a home renovation in Blaricum, TREU interior specials realized a resin floor on the first floor. And not just any floor: the client requested a resin floor with excellent sound-dampening properties to accommodate three young children. The acoustic properties of the space were carefully considered during the layer build-up of the floor. An acoustic membrane was applied to the subfloor, onto which the Artificial resin floor was poured. Thanks to this unique layer build-up, this resin floor reduces noise by up to 15 dB, offers higher crack-bridging capacity, and provides the residents with extra walking comfort. A feast for the eye and the ear.
Canal house Utrecht: resin floor on wooden subfloor
In a Utrecht canal house, TREU interior specials realized a resin floor on a base of wooden beams and a sand-cement extension. Fermacell boards were laid on both surfaces, into which underfloor heating was milled. The resin floor is the Artificial concrete type, a PU resin floor with a stone-like appearance.
Home Noordwijk: subtly finished concrete-look resin floor
In a Noordwijk residence, TREU interior specials installed a concrete-look PU resin floor of the type Artificial-029. The exact color effect was determined during application in the presence of the client. A blend of two adjacent shades of gray was chosen. A significant advantage of this color scheme is the floor’s enhanced dirt-concealing properties. By gently troweling the floor one additional time before curing, a serene concrete-look finish was achieved.
The resin floor was applied to an anhydrite subfloor, which was thoroughly sanded for optimal adhesion. The application of a primer layer eliminated the substrate’s absorption.
Former school building Leiden: true floor metamorphosis
In a former school building in Leiden, which was transformed into a residential complex, TREU interior specials has realized a new floor. According to the new resident, the existing wooden floors in the living room and bedroom of one of the homes were dated and in need of renewal. Taking the wooden subfloor/construction and comfort requirements into account, a PU resin floor of the type Artificial concrete was advised. This comfortable, robust-looking concrete-look resin floor closely resembles cement-bound resin floors in both appearance and finish, but due to its slightly elastic character, it has a much better crack-bridging capacity.
