Factors that influence the costs
The final price for a PVC floor including leveling and laying is dependent on the factors below:
- The laying pattern. With special laying patterns, such as herringbone or Hungarian point, there is more cutting loss and labor time during installation than the straight plank pattern. With special versions, take higher application costs into account;
- The floor surface. It pays to provide a larger floor surface, for example multiple rooms, with a PVC floor at the same time. Not only does the price per m2 turn out lower that way, you immediately create more unity in the interior in this way;
- Possible pre-treatments. A PVC floor cannot be placed directly on every subfloor or existing floor. In some cases, the subfloor can be made suitable for this purpose with the help of leveling or repair agents. In other situations, it is better to first remove the existing floor. In the latter case, take removal and disposal costs into account.
Costs PVC floor
The price including laying for the project quality PVC floors from TREU interior specials amounts to between €45 and €55 per m2 excl. VAT. Below 50 m2, a surcharge is charged. This assumes a sufficiently dimensionally stable and pressure-resistant subfloor. Is leveling also necessary? Ask for a price indication for leveling.
Advantageous floor solution
The costs of a PVC floor including leveling and laying are generally more advantageous than other project floor solutions. For example, the application of a PU floor or cement-bonded cast floor involves more (pre-)treatments and the processing time is longer, which has its reflection in the price. The target prices for the latter floors amount to €75-85 and €55-75 per m² excl. VAT respectively. Conditions apply to the mentioned prices.
