Resin floor with a concrete look
Its excellent wear resistance makes the Ambacht resin floor perfectly suited for areas subject to intensive foot traffic. It is no surprise then that this floor was chosen for a Maastricht hotel lobby. The gray resin floor is anything but dull. In terms of strength and appearance, the stone-like resin floor closely resembles concrete. A nod to ‘Roman concrete’, a lime-based concrete variant widely used in antiquity, for which the chalk was quarried in Maastricht for nearby Roman villas. The resin floor beautifully complements the print of Roman tunnel systems featured as a modern fresco on the wallpaper.
“Dutch Classicism at its finest!”
With the touch of the craftsman
In the Ambacht collection, the ‘hand of the master’ is visible in every detail; each floor is unique. Because the applicator applies the floor in multiple layers, followed by sanding and finishing, a surface with a highly authentic texture is created.
