Lay <a href=\"https:\/\/www.treuinteriorspecials.nl\/en\/collections\/craftsmanship\/\">cementitious resin floors<\/a> slightly away from the wall. This type of resin floor is naturally quite hard. When movement occurs, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.treuinteriorspecials.nl\/en\/resin-floor-cracks-how-to-prevent-them\/\">resin floor can crack<\/a>. A perfect connection is created with skirting boards;    <\/li>\n<li><strong>Application<\/strong>. Resin floor skirting boards can be applied both before and after pouring the floor. The latter option is preferred; this prevents splash damage and the need for repainting;  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Hygiene<\/strong>. In some rooms, a seamless transition between wall and floor is desired from a hygiene perspective, for example in shower rooms. This can be realized with a coved skirting board.
